Employee Health and Disability Administrator

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Employee Health And Disability Administrator to serve as the subject matter expert for Pine Rest’s employee health, leave of absence, disability, and workers’ compensation programs. This role partners closely with employees, leaders, healthcare providers, and third‑party administrators to ensure compliance, effective case management, and exceptional support throughout the leave and employee health process.

Employee Health and Disability Administrator Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and oversee FMLA, leave of absence, disability, and workers’ compensation programs in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws
• Educate employees, managers, and supervisors regarding leave processes, accommodations, benefits continuation, and return‑to‑work procedures
• Manage leave and workers’ compensation claims, including documentation, case tracking, provider communication, benefit administration, and return‑to‑work coordination
• Maintain accurate employee health, medical, disability, and workers’ compensation records while ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate ADA accommodation processes and collaborate with HR leadership, Benefits, and department managers on employee health and leave‑related matters
• Manage OSHA reporting requirements, monitor injury trends, and provide reporting and recommendations to support workplace safety initiatives
• Coordinate employee health compliance activities, including health screenings, immunization programs, and annual employee health requirements
• Prepare reports, maintain tracking systems, and support continuous improvement of employee health and disability programs
• Maintain required training and programmatic competencies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Employee Health and Disability Administrator Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; additional education or training in Human Resources, Benefits, Employee Health, or related areas preferred
• Two to five years of Human Resources, benefits administration, employee health, disability, or leave administration experience preferred
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, workers’ compensation, Medicare, Social Security, Department of Labor requirements, and related regulations
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new applications and databases
• Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision‑making in complex situations
• Ability to provide culturally inclusive, respectful service

Employee Health and Disability Administrator Additional Details:

• Pay based on education and experience
• Exempt (salaried) position
• Office‑based role within Human Resources
• Occasional travel may be required
