About this EMEA Merchandising Programme Manager role at Sonos

Sonos · Onsite · London, UK

At Sonos we want to create the ultimate listening experience for our customers and know that it starts by listening to each other. As part of the Sonos team, you’ll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.

About the Role

The EMEA Merchandising Specialist supports the full operational running of Sonos' point-of-sale estate across the EMEA region. Spanning 3,800+ displays in 17 countries, which requires both attention to detail and the ability to step back and assess the region as a whole.

This role sits at the intersection of global marketing, regional commercial teams and a network of external agencies. You will translate EMEA retail strategy  into clear, well-structured briefs for agencies and retail partners, hold those partners accountable to agreed standards and timelines, and drive continuous improvement in how the programme operates.

Internally, you will report to the EMEA Retail Display Manager and work  with the wider EMEA commercial marketing team,, the Global Brand Experience team, Finance and Legal. You are delivering executional excellence across EMEA with our agencies and Display Manager, ensuring all parties are informed, aligned and delivering to the standard Sonos expects at store level.

The role suits someone who is highly organised, an effective communicator across internal and external stakeholders, and comfortable being detail orientated across multiple projects at the same time.

Key Responsibilities

Programme and Project Management

  • Support the end-to-end EMEA POS programme management with agency partner executional support: estate integrity, display rollouts, ad hoc installations, relocations and dismantling across all markets

  • Support cross-functional coordination with Finance, Legal, regional Commercial Marketing and the Global Commercial Activation & Enablement team

  • Key contributors towards the onboarding of new agencies and Sonos stakeholders, ensuring clear processes, ownership and SLAs

NPI Rollouts and Retrofits

  • Support EMEA execution of all new product introduction (NPI) POS retrofits and rollouts, from initial briefing and prototype review through to in-store completion and final reporting

  • Coordinate regional requirements, store lists, tour plans and installation partners for each NPI wave

  • Manage PO tracking and invoice approval

  • Capture post-rollout learnings and implement process improvements ahead of subsequent launches

Artwork, Content and Translations

  • Coordinate POS artwork production, agency briefings, localisation and translation workflows across all markets

  • Track artwork budgets and ensure timely delivery aligned to NPI and campaign calendars

About You

Essential

  • 4+ years of experience in retail operations, POS or visual merchandising programme management, ideally within consumer electronics, lifestyle or premium FMCG

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-market programmes across EMEA, including agency management, multi-currency budgets, cross-functional stakeholder coordination and multiple concurrent workstreams

  • Commercially confident: experienced in budget ownership, PO management, invoice review and finance reporting

  • A collaborative team player who can build effective relationships cross-functionally

  • Excellent communicator; able to operate confidently at all levels from partner agencies to senior leadership

Nice to Have

  • Fluency in a second European language (German or French preferred)
