Meet the Team

The Cisco Lysaker Platform team are looking for a creative and curious Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our QA team. You will be working closely with other test engineers as well as embedded software, hardware, camera and audio teams to develop the next Cisco collaboration video products.

Your Impact

We are a team of creative software engineers, trying to uncover where the weak points of our technology are, and how they can be addressed. You will be part of a team with a variety of tasks, ranging from early prototype testing to developing automated tests for various regression testing of released products. This includes participating in creating new solutions for test setups and contributing to the development of new video collaboration products.

In this role, you will:

• Be an important part of the product development process, testing functionality and giving feedback
• Participate in test development
• Be a key driver for the quality of our products
• Be responsible for qualitative, ad hoc and exploratory testing, configuring test setups, digging through logs, analyzing data and troubleshooting technical problems
• Work closely with colleagues from multiple disciplines to achieve our common goal of developing high quality products

Minimum Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (CS, CE, EE or similar)
• Experience with Python
• Experience with automated testing for embedded software

• Experience with embedded development
• Attention to details and quality
• Creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Like to share your knowledge and are willing to learn and adapt
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
