The National Airspace System Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking an Electronics Engineer to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Service Area – Engineering Services Group located in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will support the daily planning, engineering, and implementation activities associated with the FAA's Brand-New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) modernization initiative. This position supports the deployment of next-generation air traffic control infrastructure through site assessments, facility engineering, project coordination, and installation oversight.
This role will help ensure successful implementation of BNATCS equipment and support infrastructure across the National Airspace System. Job Duties May Include but not limited to:
- Conduct site surveys at FAA facilities to identify infrastructure requirements supporting BNATCS implementation.
- Develop detailed site preparation scopes of work based on field surveys, facility data, and engineering requirements.
- Develop cost estimates for site preparation and infrastructure improvements.
- Review contractor site preparation proposals for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with FAA Service Centers (SSC), Technical Services (TSC), Air Traffic (AT), and other stakeholders to implement risk mitigations supporting BNATCS projects.
- Coordinate and schedule site preparation, installation, and commissioning activities with FAA personnel, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Generate periodic project status reports and communicate progress to project leadership.
- Maintain Corporate Work Plan (CWP) data and project documentation.
- Update facility drawings and redline documentation for drafting and as-built records.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. Two (2) years of relevant experience is preferred; however, candidates with less experience may be considered based on their education, technical aptitude, internships, and other relevant experience.
- Ability to travel 25–50%.
- Ability to obtain an FAA Public Trust Suitability determination. (To be eligible, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders who have resided in the United States for the previous three years.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
