Roles & Responsibilities:

The Energy &Transportations Systems – AT&S India is seeking Test Engineer for verifying the engine software systems.

 

Job responsibilities:

·       Development of test framework for HIL System Testing for various Electrification applications, Testing and Automation.

·       Success in this position involves working effectively with the engine application domain experts, working within the established process framework, and demonstrating technical expertise in verifying the Engine software’s.

·       Maintain and Update Hardware In Loop (HIL) hardware test systems for Electrification software testing.

·       Program, configure and update OPAL RT test equipment for closed loop system testing.

·       Design harness and test architecture between HIL tester and electronic modules to enable testing.

·       Review software models and integrate with HIL models to simulate hardware/application specific components in HIL system.

·       Review test plans and results.

·       Applying Electrification control features and electrical principles to provide inputs to Plant model developers and find appropriate method of testing the application.

·       Deploy automation to matured test plans and bring efficiencies in Test schedule.

 

Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/ Mechanical/Automotive Engineering

• 5 to 8 years’ experience in Automotive embedded software testing

 

Requirements (Key Competencies)

1. Automotive Embedded testing experience.

2. Experience of Energy software testing (preferred) and good knowledge in Energy Control

Systems.

3. Experience with OPAL HIL system for test automation and execution for automotive

subsystems

4. Experience of Python Scripting / Basic C Programming.

5. Experienced in Communication Protocols: CAN, J1939, CIP, MOdBus etc.

 

Other Skills:

1. Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

2. Must be able to effectively interact with a global team.

3. Good collaboration skills, able to work with multiple people and as well as independently.

4. Strong customer focus with ability to work closely and deliver timely support

 

Additional information: This job requires 5 working days from office.
