Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you should responsible for the integration of materials, methods and tools necessary to bring and maintain new products to the company portfolio. Work with Agile team and gross function to execute engineering activities related to New Products according to time, cost and quality targets globally. Execute engineering activities to enhance production capacity, reduce costs and improve level of quality for customer benefits. Provides ideas and is able to work both independently and as a part of a Product Engineer electronic team.


This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Responsible for leading product localization and new product industrialization, ensure on time, on quality and cost to meet project requirements.​​
  • Provide technical support for improvement project, such as 2nd source development, production efficiency improve project, and product quality improvement project.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of engineering changes, be responsible for electronic components changes and validates, to ensure product quality requirements. 
  • To clear technical requirement of products, responsible for technology transfer to production and solve technical issues on production line.
  • Support material shortage, to ensure production sustainability.
  • Optimize products and production to reduce product direct cost.
  • Provide technical support for customer complaints, assist in analyzing and solving the issues.
  • Lead production line problem analysis and fix, ensure production line activity smoothly.
  • Perform PFMEA analysis and improve product technology, assist other departments for supplier audit.
  • Support production line PPS, to reduce defect rate and improve ROTD.
  • Establish product cost management model and manage product manufacture cost.

 

Qualifications for the role

  • Proficient in power electronics theory and related powerelectronics topo major in Power electronics, Automation, Mechatronics etc.
  • At least 3 years related experience in Power electronics industry.
  • Experience in project management of electronic product development is preferred.
  • Strong practical ability and clear logical thinking.
  • Good communication and coordination skills and teamwork spirit.
  • Good English skills in reading and writing, can communicate with foreigners in oral English.
