ELECTRICIAN — KEEP THE POWER FLOWING

As an Electrician, you’re a hands-on problem solver dedicated to keeping our facility and equipment running effectively, efficiently and safely. You’re excited to work with a team of manufacturing professionals in a fast-paced, always-changing environment. You’re ready to take your career to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance program to prevent equipment failures. Operate mobile equipment as needed.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and minimize downtime for:
    • Manufacturing and support, electro-mechanical, and furnace combustion systems
    • Programmable Logic Control, Human Machine Interface systems, and their companion controls
    • Electrical power distribution system, including the facility’s production equipment electrical system
    • AC and DC motors and drive systems
  • Read and understand systems drawings.
  • Understand the plant lubrication system and the pipe, hydraulic, pumping, and pneumatic systems, and assist Mechanics as needed.
  • Test equipment prior to Production Operator use to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Follow safety procedures, including wearing PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology or a closely related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience required
  • Mechatronics Degree preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment — independently or in a team setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions preferred
