Position Overview

We are currently recruiting an Electrician to support our electrical activities within our Installation team in Leixlip, this is a full-time dayshift role based onsite at Leixlip.

Our Installation Technicians are responsible for installing, commissioning, testing, and qualifying advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment within customer fabrication facilities.

You will be the point of call for all things electrical within their installation team of technicians and the process. This is a standalone support role.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with National Craft Certificate or equivalent; additional diploma or qualification in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in electrical Ireland based roles, ideally within the semiconductor sector.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish electrical standards (I.S. 10101), industry best practices, and relevant legislation.
• Experience with electrical testing procedures and documentation control.
• Strong attention to detail and familiarity with quality control systems and procedures (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Competent in reading technical drawings, cable schedules, and QA checklists.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of English is essential, both written and oral.

Desirable:

• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.

• Dayshift Monday to Friday - 39 hour week
• Hourly rate pending on experience €25-28 euro
