We are looking for an Industrial Electrician to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana

What you will work on: 

  • Maintain heavy industrial machinery with a working knowledge of AC-DC motors and controls, combustion, metering, air conditioning, power distribution, electronics process control computers, welding, conduit and schematics. 
  • Continuous Improvement – we couldn’t do it without your owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.  
  • Safety First – our values are important to us. Having a “safety first” approach is a key element for success.  
  • The ability to work a full shift, promptness and availability to work overtime as needed.   
  • Work and perform according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.  
  • Ability to work off-shift as required  

What you’ll bring: 

  • 3 years’ experience as an electrician maintaining heavy industrial machinery or graduate of an approved apprentice program or graduate from 2-year technical associates degree program.
  • High school graduate or equivalent 
  • Hiring process will include hands-on testing
