About this Electrical Technician role at Seven West Media
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our Engineering Services Team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside our experienced maintenance team to keep our facility running safely, efficiently and reliably through preventative maintenance, fault finding and responsive repairs.

About you:
- WA Electrical Licence is essential.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, primarily 12-hour shifts across a three-day working week.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures and relevant Australian Standards.
- Proven electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills, ideally within a high-speed manufacturing or production environment.
- Confident reading electrical schematics and working with isolation and permitting systems.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- Good communication skills with a practical, customer-focused approach.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence working with software, networks and technical documentation.
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation and Control, or equivalent demonstrated capability.
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process.
About the role:
- Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across our production facility.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
- Maintain and support high-speed production, automated and electrical systems.
- Work closely with the wider Engineering Services Team to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Assist with planned maintenance, continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
- Work a unique rotating roster, primarily 12-hour shifts across a three-day working week with minimal weekend work.
- Build your technical knowledge while working across a diverse range of equipment, technology and automated systems.
