This early career Electrical Engineering position allows you to grow your skills as a member of the Product Development team - a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that includes System Engineering, Electrical System and Power Conversion Design, Mechanical Design, Control Hardware Design, Grid Regulation coordination, Software Design, and Integration / Test.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Engineers to develop and implement new designs and design improvements
- Execute and document subsystem and component/software validation test plans.
- Evaluate power circuit protection and coordination.
- Participate in FMEA and risk assessment and root cause analysis activities.
- Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams.
- Test and qualify components/firmware for production and resolve issues as needed to maintain product quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution, power electronics, or control system design.

- Familiarity with wind turbine or photovoltaic system technologies.
- Familiarity with Instrumentation and measurement of power converters.
- Familiarity with Arc Flash analysis (EasyPower or SKM) and testing
- Passionate about renewable energy and/or sustainability
