About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Centre Operations Intern to join our Data Centre team based in Singapore. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to critical data centre operations, client transition projects, and operational readiness activities across the APAC region, including Thailand and Indonesia.

Working alongside experienced operations and facilities professionals, you will support client onboarding programmes, contribute to the development of operational procedures, and assist with asset management initiatives. This role provides valuable insight into the management of mission-critical environments and regional project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Transition & Operational Readiness

• Support the coordination of client onboarding and account transition activities across data centre sites in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
• Assist in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and readiness requirements to ensure a smooth operational transition for new clients.
• Collaborate with regional teams and key stakeholders to support operational readiness programmes.
  

Operational Procedures & Documentation

• Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of site operating procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support the documentation of critical operational processes, including safety protocols, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) maintenance procedures, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Help ensure operational documentation is accurate, current, and aligned with site and client requirements.
  

Asset Management & Systems Support

• Support asset validation activities within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Assist with data verification and asset record updates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Help maintain operational records, reports, and system documentation.
  

Stakeholder Coordination & Administrative Support

• Coordinate meetings, gather information from stakeholders, and track action items related to transition and operational projects.
• Prepare status updates, reports, and presentations to support project activities.
• Provide general administrative and project support as required by the Data Centre Operations team.
  

About You:

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when working with documentation and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
• Interested in data centre operations, critical engineering / facilities management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
