Below is the job description for open position

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing safety & environment initiatives at site

  • Ensure that all safety, environment & sustainability measures are in place for smoother business operations

  • Implement and administer policies, guidelines, internal standards and directives to ensure business stability and compliance by partnering with the company governance to shape the EHS culture and complying all State & Central legal requirements

  • Ensure timely inspection & testing of firefighting equipment, safety equipment and carry out mock drills, fire drills as per procedure

  • Develop road map for safety improvements in Lock out & tag out, confined space safety, machine guarding safety, electrical safety, walking working platform safety, Chemical safety, Work permit improvements & its monitoring

  • Responsible for implementation & documentation of ISO 9001,14001 & 45001 standards in company and its internal / external audits.

  • Preparing reports and safety matrix, identify areas of improvement, prepare dashboard on different types of accidents.

  • Ensure effective training to site employees to enforce awareness and appropriate implementation of EHS policies Focuses on bottom-line results, identifies potential risk and monitor the financial impact.

  • Responsible for management of physical safety & security of workplace.

  • Conducting and documenting regular facilities inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes

Qualification

  • 3 to 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing industry.

  • Masters / Bachelor degree in Environment, Health, & Safety. Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) preferable

  • Hands on experience on dealing with various external agencies such MPCB, Govt Stakeholders, Industries Associations

  • Able to work in fast-paced environment with a highly collaborative work system

  • Conduct EHS related training to the teams / vendors

  • Fluent in English
