Just imagine helping shape a factory where automation, robotics, and people work together safely every day. Then make it real.

About the role

As our EHS Engineer, you'll help keep LEGO® manufacturing operations safe while supporting one of the region's largest multinational employers. You'll work across a wide range of environments, from office settings to production areas with automated vehicles, robotics, and new technologies. At the LEGO Group, you'll partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety performance, apply evolving standards, and support a culture where safety is a shared priority at every level.

Required Qualifications

  • Delivered health and safety compliance activities within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Managed risk identification, assessment, and mitigation processes in operational settings.
  • Applied manufacturing safety practices and standards to support safe production operations.
  • Completed a safety-related qualification as a technician or engineer.
  • Built practical experience through 1-3 years of work in a production facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Delivered continuous improvement initiatives that enhanced safety or operational performance.
  • Managed projects involving manufacturing, automation, or workplace safety.
  • Supported cross-functional initiatives involving multiple operational stakeholders.

What you'll build

  • Strong safety support for operational areas using automated vehicles and robotics.
  • Effective partnerships with operational leaders across production, packing, and logistics.
  • Practical application of new safety standards and processes as technologies evolve.
  • Consistent support for projects, activities, and day-to-day operational decisions.
  • A foundation of trusted safety guidance that helps teams work confidently and safely.

If you've worked in a role where you supported manufacturing operations, managed workplace risks, and helped maintain compliance standards, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to combine practical safety expertise with sound judgement and commitment to safe outcomes.

Life on the team

You'll join the Nyíregyháza Factory EHS team, where everyone contributes to factory-wide safety through close collaboration and shared responsibility. The team works together to support operational departments and implement consistent standards across the site. You'll find a collaborative environment where analytical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder management, strong communication, and critical thinking are valued. It's a place to learn, grow, and develop your career through meaningful work and shared expertise.

This role is based at our newly expanded LEGO® manufacturing site in Nyíregyháza, Hungary. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, flexible, - and we like to have fun along the way!

What success looks like

Success means becoming a trusted member of the operational leadership team and providing independent safety support for daily activities and larger initiatives. You'll work closely with department leaders, engineers, and EHS colleagues while helping the factory prepare for automation projects, new production lines, and future growth. Over time, you'll be recognized for your ability to guide safe decisions, support change, and help the organization maintain its strong safety culture.

Please note: If you require any reasonable accommodation or adjustments throughout the application process, please let us know. We will work with you to meet your needs.
