About this Educational Sales Consultant, Inside Sales, UK Accounts role at IXL Learning
IXL Learning, a US-based global edtech leader, is looking for an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our UK Inside Sales team in London, England. IXL is a personalized learning platform used by 17 million students and 1 million teachers worldwide.
Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. In this role, you will support our UK field sales team in expanding our regional presence and supporting our rapidly growing customer base.
This is a full-time position that requires you to be in our London, England, office on Old Street.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Lead follow up for transactional sales and data input for processing
- Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL's value proposition to new users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
- Ensure the timely processing of leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
- Identify growth opportunities for the sales teams to ensure goal attainment
- Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, inside sales or education, preferably within the ed-tech or software industry
- A high level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills
- Understanding of web applications
- Ability to accommodate various global time zones is a plus
- Salesforce.com experience is a plus
