About this Educational Sales Consultant, Inside Sales, International Accounts role at IXL Learning
IXL Learning, a US-based global edtech leader, is looking for an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team in London, England. IXL is a personalized learning platform used by 17 million students and 1 million teachers worldwide.
Our ideal candidate has a natural aptitude for sales and genuinely cares about helping customers succeed. You are comfortable hopping on virtual calls, getting to the heart of what a customer needs, and showing them how our products can help. You’ll drive growth by bringing in new international business and expanding current accounts, delivering exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time position that requires you to be in our London, England, office on Old Street. #LI-EM1
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers through engaging virtual presentations
- Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process
- Consistently meet sales goals
- Assist with designing and implementing new and creative sales strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers
- Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, inside sales, or education, preferably within the ed-tech or software industry
- A high level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills
- Understanding of web applications
- Ability to accommodate various global time zones is a plus
- Salesforce.com experience is a plus
