About this EDI Analyst role at Skechers

Skechers · Onsite · United Kingdom
At Skechers, our technology and supply chain teams help keep products moving efficiently across a global network of customers, distribution centres and trading partners. We're looking for an EDI Analyst to support the successful onboarding of EDI customers across Europe and International markets, helping to streamline integrations and reduce onboarding backlogs through hands-on project delivery. Based on the style and structure of the Skechers Retail Marketing Coordinator advert, which focuses on a practical, delivery-oriented role with clear responsibilities and impact.

As our EDI Analyst, you'll play a key role in delivering EDI onboarding projects from requirements gathering through to production go-live and hypercare. Working closely with internal teams, trading partners, and managed service providers, you'll help ensure customers are integrated efficiently while maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and customer service.

You'll:

  • Manage EDI onboarding projects for trading partners across Europe and International regions, from requirements gathering through testing, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and managed service providers to deliver successful EDI implementations on time and to agreed standards.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, ensuring all onboarding activities are effectively planned and tracked.
  • Coordinate mapping development, validation, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities across multiple integration platforms.
  • Lead customer acceptance testing and support end-to-end validation of EDI transactions, data flows, and system integrations.
  • Troubleshoot EDI, mapping, connectivity, and integration issues, identifying root causes and working with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, implementation records, testing evidence, and status updates throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early, escalating issues that may impact delivery timelines.
  • Support the modernisation and continuous improvement of EDI processes, documentation, onboarding tools, and operational best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with trading partners, service providers, and internal teams to ensure a collaborative and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Support production go-lives and provide post-implementation hypercare to ensure successful customer adoption.
  • Take increasing ownership of customer onboarding projects while developing deeper expertise in EDI, integration technologies, and supply chain processes.

What we're looking for:

  • Hands-on experience supporting EDI onboarding, trading partner implementations, testing, mapping validation, or production support activities.
  • Knowledge of EDIFACT and/or ANSI X12 transaction sets within retail, wholesale, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
  • Experience working with EDI translators or B2B integration platforms such as OpenText, BTwentyFour, IBM Sterling, Seeburger, Gentran, TrustedLink, Boomi, or similar solutions.
  • Understanding of EDI mapping concepts, partner setup, transaction validation, and end-to-end trading partner integration processes.
  • Experience supporting ERP and WMS integrations; Oracle Fusion experience would be advantageous.
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills for validation, investigation, and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Knowledge of connectivity methods including AS2, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, VANs, and EDI mailboxes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accurate documentation and project tracking.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, global business environment.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on EDI or B2B integration experience.
  • Experience supporting EDI implementations, customer testing, transaction validation, troubleshooting, and production deployments.
  • Previous experience within retail, footwear, fashion, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain industries is preferred.

Plus, you’ll enjoy:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Career growth and development opportunities
  • A fun, dynamic and inclusive working environment
  • Skechers product discount
  • And plenty more benefits and perks to discover!
