We are looking for EDC Module Architect who will be responsible for:

Product strategy:

  • Define full EDC targets aligned with the market

  • Define the Product requirements and the concepts.

  • Implement and update a product roadmap

Standard Owner duties:

  • Implement and maintain the appropriate standards

  • Manage the deviations

  • Provide technical training

Product Architecture duties:

  • Define the product functional architecture

  • Ensure the cascade of critical OEMs requirements to subsystems

  • Ensure the appropriate validation of the subsystems prior to their integration into the full system

Product Configurator duties:

  • Define the product configurator 

  • Implement the tools to generate the product configurations from the OEMs requirements

  • Manage and maintain generations and variants

Support development teams and maintain current production

  • With the privileged interface of the Platform Integrator, Thermal cluster design teams

  • Manage the changes and the risks that might affect EDC

  • Involved in the relevant Problem resolution workstreams

  • From the Compressor Module MTP and Strategic Product Plan, identification of targets that the EDC system must meet to satisfy the market.

  • Identify expectations that the EDC system must meet to satisfy the stakeholders at short, medium and long term. It includes functional, non-functional, and user requirements, as well as performance, reliability, security, usability, and maintainability and costs aspects.

  • Carry out the necessary trade off studies to define the requirements and the concepts. Document and justify the decisions clearly and unambiguously.

  • Ensure standards benefit from capitalization of lessons learnt, the continuous improvement and innovation. 

  • Align standards' feasibility/compatibility with the stakeholders.

  • Define the functional architecture of the EDC 

  • Define the product configurator supporting the Compressor Module current and Strategic Product Plan

  • Define the tools and techniques to cascade the critical OEMs requirements down to internal and subsystems specifications, including the management of the subsystems interfaces

  • Involved in the approval processes of validation and integration plans and their reports.

  • Check Intellectual Property aspects 

  • Design reviews participation

  • Support the engineering/project teams

  • Clearance of the related Intellectual Property aspects

  • Define of the tools and techniques to validate and integrate the subsystems into the full system

Let´s talk about you:

  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermodynamic engineering (heat transfer, A/C cycles)

  • Proof of hands-on experience of design, prototyping, troubleshooting and testing of components of heat pump system, ideally compressors.

  • Good communication and presentations skills: Negotiation, mentoring, coordination, networking, lobbying
