About the role

Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sameday Driver to join our team based in Banksmeadow, NSW.

Our Sameday team specialises in time-sensitive freight, providing customers with fast, reliable pickup and delivery solutions to meet their urgent transport needs. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll help ensure freight reaches its destination safely and on time, while adapting to changing priorities throughout the day.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for completing local pickups and deliveries, ensuring freight is handled safely and delivered to customers in a timely and professional manner. You’ll play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly while providing a high standard of service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Completing scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout the local area.
• Loading, unloading and securing freight safely.
• Ensuring all freight is handled with care and delivered accurately and on time.
• Completing delivery paperwork and electronic scanning as required.
• Maintaining vehicle safety through regular checks and reporting any defects.
• Following all road safety requirements, company procedures and workplace health and safety standards.
• Providing professional and courteous customer service at every delivery point.

What you'll bring

• A current and valid C Class driver's licence
• Previous experience in a delivery or transport role, preferably within a fast-paced freight environment.
• A strong focus on safety, reliability and time management.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
• A practical, hands-on approach to loading and unloading freight.
• Basic technology skills, including the use of scanners or electronic proof-of-delivery systems.
• Full working rights in Australia.
