MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safe and efficient transportation of IRC staff and materials
- Care and maintenance of IRC vehicles and their accessories
- Professional representation of IRC
- Strict adherence to IRC vehicle rules and procedures, including mandatory seatbelt use by all passengers
- Daily vehicle inspections
- Accurate completion of the vehicle logbook
- Keeping the vehicle clean, fueled, and mechanically sound
- Inspection and servicing of all vehicle accessories
- Reporting incomplete inspections, insurance renewals, or any defects or issues to the supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Complete secondary education; vocational or technical education
Work experience: Minimum two years of professional driving experience; confident driving skills with manual transmission vehicles
Required skills and abilities:
- Valid Category B driver’s license
- No significant traffic violations or road-safety-related convictions
- Basic English is highly desirable
- Ability to pass the IRC driving test for manual transmission
- Basic computer skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
- This position requires full-time work in the office
- Business travel may account for up to 30% of working time
- Occasional weekend work may be required
