Mō te tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for Drainlayers with a current CCC Authorised Water Supply Installer qualification to join our team supporting the CCC Smart Meter installation contract.

This is hands-on, meaningful work that helps keep water services moving for the community. You’ll be part of a team that backs each other, works with low ego, and takes pride in doing Good Work right first time. Day to day, you’ll be out on site delivering meter installation and related drainage works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Carry out new smart meter installation and associated drainlaying works to contract and quality standards.
• Work Safely around live services, traffic, and active work sites.
• Complete Site tasks efficiently while maintaining accurate job records and paperwork.
• Communicate Well with team members, supervisors, and the public on site.
• Contribute To a team culture that values safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Current CCC Authorised Water Supply Installer qualification.
• Proven Experience in drainlaying and civil or water infrastructure works.
• A Strong commitment to safety, quality, and getting the job done properly.
• Ability To carry out the inherent requirements of the role and work comfortably outdoors in varying conditions.
• A Collaborative, reliable approach and confidence working as part of a close-knit crew.
