THE JOB:
As a Dispatcher Food Assistant at MGM Grand, you’ll be the vital link that keeps our kitchens and events moving, ensuring every food product and piece of equipment arrives safely, accurately, and right on time. With speed, precision, and a passion for teamwork, you’ll help power unforgettable culinary experiences from behind the scenes.
THE STARTING RATE: $17.75 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Receive and deliver food items or kitchen equipment from one to another designated area for the banquet functions in a safe and timely manner even at a rapid speed or under pressure
- Keep and organize banquet event orders
- Read and understand interdepartmental transfer requisitions
- Follow correct inventory control procedures
- Communicate properly and follow direction of Manger of Convention Services, Room Chefs and Chef De Cuisine
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: - 21+ years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ Years of prior relevant experience working in a Casino/Resort setting
- 1+ Years of prior relevant experience working as a Busser or Food Runner preferred
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
