  • Contribute to the direction of product strategy through well-structured proposals grounded in user evidence, customer needs, and product insights.
  • Drive alignment between product experiences and user workflows to increase adoption, engagement, stickiness, retention, and ultimately business growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing products and systematically improve usability, discoverability, consistency, and overall product quality.
  • Establish and evolve processes for design reviews, UX critique, prototyping, user validation, and design decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally as a product leader with Science, Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams to define user requirements and validate desired outcomes from early product definition through implementation.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Scientific/Content, and other creative teams where product and brand experiences intersect, ensuring visual brand standards are applied coherently across the customer experience.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to establish and maintain a scalable design system, including reusable components, interaction patterns, and UX principles, while maintaining a high bar for design quality and implementation fidelity.
  • Recruit, hire, manage, and mentor UI/UX and product design professionals as the Product Design organization grows.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in product design, UX design and architecture, interaction design, or related disciplines, with significant experience designing B2B or B2X digital products.
  • Experience designing enterprise, scientific, technical, analytical, data-intensive, or workflow-oriented software or related products which serve highly specialized professional or technical users.
