Our client, a growing industrial automation manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Product Management to guide product strategy and portfolio development. The position will connect customer needs, market opportunities, and engineering capabilities to support commercially successful automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmaps, positioning, and lifecycle plans.
• Evaluate market trends, customer requirements, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
• Prioritize product investments using commercial, technical, and financial criteria.
• Lead new product development planning with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing.
• Develop business cases, pricing strategies, launch plans, and performance targets.
• Gather feedback from customers, distributors, integrators, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor product revenue, profitability, adoption, and lifecycle performance.
• Lead and develop a team of product managers and technical specialists.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.

8+ years of product management or product strategy experience.

3+ years of experience leading product management teams or functions.

Experience with industrial automation, controls, robotics, machine vision, or related technologies.

Strong understanding of product development and commercialization processes.

Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value.

Excellent analytical, presentation, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings and industry events.

Benefits

Annual salary of $120,000 to $145,000.
