About 7AI
7AI is the foundational AI security company. Founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, we came out of stealth in February 2025 to take on the non-human work of the SOC. Our platform pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents that detect, investigate, respond, and hunt, plus dedicated threat hunting and threat intelligence, with humans on the loop.
Backed by $166 million in total funding from investors including Index Ventures and Blackstone, we're building the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era, and we're still early. That's the appeal: you'll join at a pivotal stage where your work shapes what 7AI becomes, alongside security veterans who've built this before. Our culture runs on respect, collaboration, and a shared bar for excellence, all pointed at one goal, delivering real outcomes for the customers who trust us to defend them.
Overview
7AI is hiring a Director of Experiential & Events to lead experiential marketing and build the strategy. Not just the flagship events and executive experiences, but the full portfolio, including channel and regional events. You'll own how 7AI shows up in person: designing moments people remember, not just staffing a booth, and building the muscle to do it well as we scale. We’re looking for someone who brings an uncompromising level of taste and production polish — the kind of instinct that comes from designing for the most discerning audiences — and knows how to translate that into credibility with security leaders who notice everything and are won over by substance, not spectacle. This is a strategic ownership role: you'll set the vision and standards for experiential marketing, then ensure regional teams execute against that same bar.
What You'll Do
Own 7AI's experiential marketing strategy: flagship industry events, executive dinners, roundtables, brand activations, regional and channel events
Lead 7AI's presence at major security industry conferences, from concept and design through on-site execution
Design executive experiences that make a real impression on the CISOs and security leaders we want in the room
Own the budget for every program you run, and manage the vendors, venues, and production partners behind it
Build and lead the experiential marketing function as it grows
Partner with sales, brand, and product marketing so every event serves a real business goal, not just a checked box
Measure what each experience actually produced (brand recall, relationships built, pipeline influence) and use that to improve the next one
Travel regularly to run events on-site
What We're Looking For
6+ years in event management or experiential marketing, with direct ownership of large-scale programs from budget through execution
A track record of running flagship events that people remember, not just attend
Experience managing production vendors, venues, and budgets end to end
Comfort building a program area from scratch — this is a role you shape, not one with an existing playbook
A strong eye for design and brand experience — you know the difference between a booth and a moment
A background that might come from outside traditional B2B or security marketing — luxury hospitality, high-profile entertainment, fashion, or elite social events — where the bar for craft and guest experience is exceptionally high. What matters most is that you’ve operated at that level, not where you learned it.
Experience leading or mentoring other event or field marketers
The judgment to know the difference between impressing a room and earning its trust — you can point to a time you designed an experience for a skeptical, technical, or risk-averse audience, not just one that wanted to be dazzled.
Nice to Have
Experience marketing to security or IT buyers, including CISOs and security operations teams
Experience running programs at major security industry conferences (RSAC, Black Hat, DEF CON, or similar)
Experience designing for a high-profile, VIP, or celebrity clientele where guest experience — not just budget — defined success.
Experience in a high-growth or early-stage startup environment
