About this Director of Audit, Capital Markets role at RBC
Job Description
What do you need to succeed?
- Minimum 10 years in financial sector audit and/or professional audit standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Accountability, leadership, initiative, teamwork, change agent and impact and influence
- Strong inter-personal skills including interaction/dealing with executives and senior management and ability to maintain a strong relationship with staff, peers and stakeholders
- Risk management and audit expertise
- Expert in-depth knowledge of regulatory guidance, IIA Standards, Practice Advisories and Practice Guides
- Strong working background/experience with major business segments of RBC or comparable peer bank
- Ability to develop a strong knowledge of RBC guidelines and processes and ability to access in-house subject matter experts
- Strong analytical, communication, strategic and creative mindset
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Leadership by example in teamwork, cross-unit cooperation and information sharing.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $160,000 - $250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
