We're looking for a sharp, fast-moving AI video editor to join our client's DTC brand. You'll edit and generate AI-powered video ads from daily scripts provided by the founder. This is a high-volume, performance-driven role – we test fast, iterate faster, and only care about what converts. You'll need hands-on experience creating realistic AI-generated A-roll and B-roll, not just assembling edits. You'll have full access to AI tools to supercharge your workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• AI video generation and editing. The candidate must own the creation of AI footage, not just assemble it.
• Generate realistic AI A-roll and B-roll independently using tools like Google Flow, Runway, Veo, or similar
• Write and refine prompts to control output quality until assets are realistic and usable
• Use AI-powered editing/creative tools to speed up production
• Optimize video flow, hooks, cadence, and pacing for paid social (Meta/TikTok)
• Track performance feedback and adjust creative accordingly
• Deliver polished, on-brand assets within tight turnaround times

Requirements

• Proven experience editing for DTC brands (paid social / direct response)
• Hands-on experience generating realistic AI video footage (A-roll/B-roll) – not just editing AI assets
• Proficiency with AI generation tools (Google Flow, Runway, Veo, Kling, or similar)
• Strong prompt engineering skills – ability to refine outputs until they are realistic and usable
• Daily hands-on experience with AI editing tools (e.g., Descript, Opus, CapCut, or similar)
• Ability to produce high volume without sacrificing quality
• Strong understanding of ad metrics (ROAS, CTR, CPA) and what drives conversion
• Self-motivated, receptive to daily feedback, and fully committed (no other full-time jobs)
