What You'll Do
As a Dining Cook, you'll help create exceptional dining experiences by preparing flavorful, nutritious meals that exceed resident expectations. Working in a professional kitchen environment, you will:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes, dietary guidelines, and quality standards.
- Ensure meals are presented attractively and served at the proper temperatures.
- Assist with food preparation, production planning, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety and infection control guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with culinary team members to deliver outstanding service and resident satisfaction.
- Support special events, holiday meals, and community dining experiences.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or high-volume food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to read and speak English.
Compensation & Benefits
Job Type: Full Time
Competitive Hourly Pay: $16.50 - $22.00, based on experience and culinary skills
