What You’ll Be Part Of
As the Workspace Manager, you will lead HARMAN’s modern endpoint management and workplace technology services, ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable end-user computing environment for employees worldwide. Reporting to Michal Strzelecki, you will be responsible for the strategy, architecture, operational performance, and continuous improvement of endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and Apple device management. This is a people leadership role managing a team of 5+ professionals while providing guidance and operational direction to onsite IT support teams globally. You will play a key role in driving workplace technology modernization, enhancing user experience, and maintaining operational excellence across HARMAN’s endpoint ecosystem.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead and develop a team of endpoint management and workplace technology professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and career development support.
- Own the strategy, architecture, roadmap, and operational delivery of HARMAN’s endpoint management environment, including Microsoft Intune and Apple device management platforms.
- Establish and maintain standards for endpoint configuration, security, compliance, software deployment, patch management, and lifecycle management.
- Oversee enterprise-wide operating system and software update programs, ensuring timely deployment and compliance with security and operational requirements.
- Lead the design, testing, validation, and deployment of new endpoint images, device configurations, and hardware models.
- Manage endpoint lifecycle activities, including device onboarding, refresh programs, retirement processes, and hardware standardization initiatives.
- Ensure effective management of Windows and macOS devices, delivering a consistent and secure user experience across platforms.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and operational support to onsite IT support teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and service delivery expectations.
- Partner with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Procurement, and End User Services teams to strengthen endpoint security and workplace technology capabilities.
- Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with hardware, software, and service providers to optimize service quality and operational performance.
- Establish operational metrics, service level objectives, and reporting processes to drive continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Lead workplace technology projects and initiatives that improve productivity, user satisfaction, operational efficiency, and platform resilience.
What Makes You A Strong Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing endpoint management, workplace technology, end-user computing, or related IT functions.
- Previous people leadership experience with responsibility for managing and developing technical teams.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, and modern device management practices.
- Experience managing Windows and macOS device environments in a large enterprise setting.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance management, software deployment, patch management, and device lifecycle management.
- Experience designing and implementing endpoint management strategies, standards, and operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment across distributed support organizations.
- Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) or equivalent Microsoft certifications.
- Experience supporting global workplace technology environments across multiple regions.
- Experience with Apple Business Manager, Jamf, or other macOS management platforms.
- Knowledge of endpoint security technologies and Zero Trust security principles.
- ITIL certification or experience implementing IT Service Management best practices.
- Experience leading endpoint modernization or digital workplace transformation initiatives.
