About this Digital Retail Manager role at Dr. Squatch
Why We Exist and What We Do:
At Dr. Squatch (www.drsquatch.com), we’re raising the bar on men’s personal care with our line of natural, high-performance products. We’re on a high-growth, fast-moving ride, continually introducing new product categories, launching into retailers nationwide, and growing internationally. We have been recognized and certified by Great Place to Work® multiple times, and we achieved status as a certified B Corp in 2023. We are looking for passionate, talented people who want to join us in our mission to inspire and educate men to be happier and healthier!
About the Role:
Digital retail (primarily Walmart.com and Target.com) is one of our biggest growth opportunities at Dr. Squatch. We're hiring a dedicated owner to run these platforms end to end. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketplaces, you'll own performance and day-to-day management across Walmart.com and Target.com. We’re looking for someone ambitious and hungry who can take real ownership fast, prove it, and grow the function as the channels scale. If you want a seat where you can build, this is it.
This role will report to the Senior Director, Marketplaces & Digital Retail.
This is a full-time role with company benefits based in Marina Del Rey, CA.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $110,000 to $120,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
What You'll Do:
- Revenue growth of Walmart.com and Target.com: sales, digital penetration, share of voice, and ad efficiency for on-site ads.
- Performance reporting and insight: own the digital-retail read, media incrementality, and the recommendations that come out of it
- Day-to-day management of both channels: item setup, catalog and content health, PDP quality, offer / buy-box health, and online in-stock (with help from agency partners and cross-functional teams)
- Retail media: partner with our external agency partners on execution & performance today, then progressively bring on-site ads in-house if and when it makes sense
- Merchandising and product launches on .com (1P & 3P), partnering with our Sales & Commercialization teams
- Price/pack and promotional strategy execution across both channels, coordinated with Amazon and Retail leads
- Cross-functional partnership with Retail, Shopper Marketing, Brand, and eCommerce teams
About You:
- 3-5 years owning a function at a metrics-driven, high-growth brand or company or 2-3 years in management consulting
- Commercial ownership: experience running to a number and making tradeoffs across different initiatives and priorities
- Operational rigor: comfortable executing on granular day-to-day details and keeping coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytics: fluent in performance data, able to form and defend a clear point of view
- Executive communication: can turn raw metrics and progress into a crisp read and recommendation at an executive level
- Ambitious, high-ownership, and low-ego. You're comfortable owning the outcome and the task list to get there
- Experience with Walmart.com and/or Target.com (1P and/or 3P) merchandising and/or retail media strongly preferred
