This Position reports to:

The purpose of this role is to ensure the operational reliability, monitoring coverage and continuous improvement of the Analytics Portfolio. The role combines analytics portfolio operations, service management, operational coordination and configuration of monitoring and automation to proactively identify issues, improve service reliability and support consistent operational follow-up. The engineer works closely with Analytics Product Owners, Development teams, Data Product Owners, Platform Operations teams and the Power BI / Fabric team to ensure that analytical solutions are stable, supportable and ready for effective lifecycle management.

This role is contributing to the Automation Business for Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensure operational stability, monitoring coverage and service quality across a portfolio of assigned analytics products and reporting solutions.
• Monitor product health, usage, business-critical incidents, data quality signals and service dependencies.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility and prepare recurring operational summaries, exception lists and follow-up actions for Product Owners and service stakeholders. 
• Coordinate operational follow-up with Product Owners, Data Product Owners, Platform teams and business stakeholders.
• Maintain visibility of product ownership, lifecycle status, support readiness and operational risks.

Qualifications for the role :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Typically 5 years of relevant experience in analytics engineering, BI platform operations, data operations, application operations, or comparable production environments
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Power BI Service and Microsoft Fabric, including workspaces, reports, semantic models, refresh processes, connections, capacity behavior, security roles and operational administration
• Experience supporting a portfolio of analytics products in a global, distributed organization
• Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, including SQL, virtual warehouses, databases and schemas, roles and access controls, query history, performance analysis, data lineage and operational troubleshooting
• Demonstrated ability to design monitoring and observability solutions, analyze operational signals, troubleshoot complex incidents and convert recurring patterns into reusable controls

• Experience in a global, distributed organization and collaboration across Analytics, Platform Operations, governance, Product Owners and solution teams
