A Day in the Life
The MiniMed Diabetes regional marketing function supports patient engagement, digital marketing and customer experience across South East Asia and India. The team develops scalable patient journeys, digital capabilities and data-informed marketing programmes to strengthen customer experience, support new patient growth, increase therapy adoption and improve retention.This position is an exciting opportunity to work with the Diabetes business. Medtronic announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and to reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic. The Diabetes division, now known as MiniMed, completed its IPO in March 2026. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investment to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon completion of required local legal and employment processes, we expect your employment to transfer to MiniMed, subject to business needs and any applicable information and consultation requirements in your jurisdiction.
The Digital & Patient Marketing Specialist is based in Singapore with an Onsite work style. The role has a regional scope across South East Asia and India and requires approximately 25–30% travel.
The Digital & Patient Marketing Specialist will lead digital and patient-focused marketing initiatives across South East Asia and India. The role will develop and optimise patient journeys, digital engagement programmes and data-informed campaigns to improve customer experience, support patient acquisition and retention, and accelerate therapy adoption.
Primary Responsibilities:
Patient Marketing & Engagement
- Develop and execute patient marketing strategies supporting awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, and therapy adoption.
- Create patient-centric programs and educational content that improve customer experience and loyalty.
- Partner with country teams to localize and implement regional patient engagement initiatives.
- Support appropriate collaboration with diabetes communities, patient organizations, and external partners.
Digital Marketing & Customer Experience
- Develop and execute digital marketing plans across relevant channels, including websites, CRM, marketing automation, social media, and digital campaigns.
- Design and optimize customer journeys, lead-generation pathways, and engagement programs.
- Use analytics and customer insights to measure campaign performance, improve conversion, and recommend optimization actions.
- Support development of scalable regional digital capabilities, content, and best practices.
Growth, Governance & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Support digital lead generation and conversion initiatives contributing to New Patient growth.
- Partner with Sales, Clinical, Training, Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, and country marketing stakeholders to ensure effective and compliant execution.
- Track digital engagement, customer experience, acquisition, and retention KPIs.
- Prepare performance updates and recommendations for country and regional business reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Communications
- Experience in digital marketing, CRM, marketing automation, digital campaigns, customer journey development or customer engagement.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Ability to travel approximately 25–30% across the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant digital marketing experience.
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- Regional or multi-country marketing experience.
- Experience using digital marketing analytics and customer insights to optimise acquisition, conversion and engagement.
- Experience working across functions, countries and cultures within a matrix organisation.
- Additional Asian language capability
