About the Client
Our client is one of the Big Four accounting firms and the world’s largest professional services network. Headquartered in London, they operate in 150+ countries with 460,000+ professionals delivering excellence in audit, tax, consulting, and advisory.
The team you will join designs, develops, and deploys innovative enterprise technology and AI-driven tools to support the delivery of tax services. It is a dynamic group combining expertise in tax, software engineering, change management, and project management, working on initiatives from tool design and deployment to training development and engagement management.
What You’ll Do
- Design Azure-hosted solutions that meet business & technical requirements.
- Create highly-available, scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance
- Act as the Azure Cloud Champion for the App Development and DevOps Teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and firm policies.
- Work with the application architects, DevSecOps and Cyber Team, to review security questionnaires
- Provide guidance to DevOps & development teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions.
- Organize and coordinate infrastructure architecture reviews as needed
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Liaise with vendors and cloud providers to ensure proper delivery of services.
- Monitor cloud systems and ensure they meet performance benchmarks
- and security requirements.
- Optimize cloud resources and cost through automation and monitoring.
- Implement disaster recovery strategy and ensure high availability of cloud resources.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
- Report on cloud service performance and cost trends
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing & deploying cloud architecture.
- Expertise in Azure Cloud platform including PaaS offerings like AKS, Azure SQL, APIM, Azure Service Bus etc.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and database management in cloud environment.
- Knowledge of Source Code Management concepts (e.g., code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning)
- Experience producing PoCs (Proof of Concept) to support the development and DevOps teams
- Ability to translate traditional SDLC approach (plan, code, build, test, release, deploy and monitor) to the phases of agile development when writing software to automate cloud architecture related tasks
Nice to have
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience with DevOps practices & CI/CD pipelines

- Compensation Transparency: The expected compensation range for this role is $120–150/hr USD, with eligibility for commission, bonus, or other incentive compensation where applicable. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location within the United States, and business needs.
