Pratt & Whitney, a worldwide leader in cutting-edge propulsion technology, is looking for a motivated Customer Support Engineer to become part of our Military Engines Sustainment team.

This position involves supporting depot-level maintenance, overhaul, repair, and remanufacturing of F117, F119, and F135 engines, with an initial emphasis on the F135 propulsion system. Collaboration with internal teams such as Component Integrated Product Teams, Logistics Program Management, Quality, Support Equipment, and Fleet Management organizations.

What You Will Do:

• Manufacturing blueprint
• Item Repair strategy
• Technical data review & interpretation
• Support processes authoring technical dispositions and SAP EQN System dispositions
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives that support continuous process improvement
• Working with the jet engine SE remanufacture supply base repair sourcing and execution
• Coordination with engine fleet management programs
• Technical support of Hardware field issues
• Product team technical presentations and cross organization communication
• Development and creation of standard work for various processes/procedures
• Develop databases and process matrices

What You Will Learn:

• Advanced military engine sustainment and depot operations.
• Technical processes related to remanufacture, overhaul, and complex repair strategies.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills within engineering, quality, logistics, and program teams.
• Tools and systems including SAP, Teamcenter, Webtop, and engineering blueprint interpretation.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior aviation/jet engine experience or an Advanced degree in a related field, or an Associates degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant experience. 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• 10% Travel

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior experience with military jet engine logistics, repair, or an A&P certification.
• 2+ years of experience with depot maintenance and MRO concepts.
• 2+ years in a role responsible for resolving technical issues

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
