As a Clinical Systems Analyst I, you will participate in the implementation of health care information systems. In this role, you will assist with developing and testing application functionality, participate in project teams and collaborate with clinical departments to complete clinical system implementations. You will also assist with training programs related to automated systems.

A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with one day per week onsite at Main Campus.

To be considered for this position, candidates must reside locally in Northeast Ohio (NEO).

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Interact with end-users to assist with problem definition and provide implementation support.

  • Coordinate and conduct education and end-user training programs to ensure systems are utilized as designed.

  • Assist with development of end-user documentation that provides clear, concise reference information.

  • With direction from Pharmacy Leadership, provide implementation assistance for system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle.

  • Perform program management and analyst functions, including tracking systems, metrics and operational performance.

  • Run, generate and analyze reports and dashboards.

  • Extract and analyze large datasets to support operational decision-making.

  • Identify opportunities for service and program optimization and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct audits and support regulatory compliance.

  • Support pharmacy programs, including procurement, controlled substance management and inventory management.

  • Provide reporting and analytical support for pharmacy operations and programs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • (Additional relevant years of experience may offset Bachelor's Degree)

  • One year of applicable hospital or major medical center clinical experience

  • OR one year of recent experience supporting a major clinical information system

  • In depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice

  • License in a medically related field such as nursing (RN), pharmacy technician (CPHT), medical assistant (CMT), medical technology (MT) or Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic

  • Familiar with the processes and procedures related to health care regulatory agencies

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Technical certification may be required

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Excel or analyst experience

  • Advanced Excel proficiency

  • Experience analyzing large datasets

  • Proficiency in SQL

  • Experience with reporting and data extraction

  • Experience optimizing programs and services

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
