We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie, Bakery to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.

In this position, you will support the preparation of high-quality breads, pastries and bakery products while developing your baking skills under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring consistency, quality and full compliance with hygiene, food safety and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and baking of bread, rolls, pastries and other bakery products, following the guidance of the Pastry Chef.
• Follow established recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency, quality and timely service.
• Assist with daily mise en place, organization of ingredients and bakery stock, including proper labelling, storage and rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens and proofing chambers, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe bakery environment in accordance with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the pastry and kitchen teams to support daily operations and the requirements of guests and events.
• Show curiosity, passion and a willingness to learn, actively developing baking skills and techniques under the guidance of senior bakers and chefs.

Requirements

• Relevant professional diploma or qualification from a recognized educational institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-quality hospitality environment, such as a luxury restaurant, hotel or cruise ship, with exposure to different catering styles, including à la carte and buffet.
• Strong knowledge of bakery production, preparation and presentation, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
• Good command of the English language. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of the English language; knowledge of Greek or other languages is considered an advantage.
