About The Role:

Are you an experienced Supply Demand Planner who enjoys turning sales, inventory and market data into practical plans that improve stock availability, service levels and commercial outcomes?

APG is seeking a full-time permanent Demand Planner based out of Brendale, QLD to support purchasing decisions through accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, supplier coordination and replenishment management.

Reporting to the Purchasing and Pricing Manager, you will work across Purchasing, Pricing, Product Development, Sales and Operations teams to ensure the right automotive parts are available at the right time, while optimising inventory investment and supply-chain costs.

You will:

• Develop and manage 36-month demand forecasts across selected categories, customers, channels and brands.
• Analyse sales trends, seasonality, market activity, product lifecycles and customer requirements to deliver actionable forecasts.
• Support purchasing and pricing decisions through demand, inventory, landed-cost and supply-risk analysis.
• Plan replenishment and monitor inventory performance to support availability across APG distribution centres nationally.
• Coordinate with suppliers and consolidation points to schedule, track and efficiently consolidate shipments.
• Identify supply risks, pricing opportunities and corrective actions, providing insights to relevant business forums.
• Partner with Product Development, Sales, Operations and Purchasing teams to improve planning, data quality and merchandise deployment.

About You:

You will bring:

• Strong forecasting, inventory-analysis and commercial decision-making capability.
• Sound understanding of supply-chain concepts, including lead times, safety stock, stock turns, service levels, excess and obsolete stock, landed cost and replenishment planning.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence using ERP, purchasing and other supply-chain systems.
• A proactive approach to identifying supply risks and continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate across Purchasing, Pricing, Product Development, Sales and Operations.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present supply, inventory and pricing insights to management.
• A collaborative, relationship-focused approach that brings stakeholders together to achieve shared outcomes.
• Excellent time-management skills and a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong people-leadership capability, with the ability to support, develop and bring out the best in others.
