About the role

TMS Global is seeking a Specification Data Technician to join our Shared Services Centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working on a hybrid basis and supporting European business hours, you will play a key role in managing product specifications and Retail Point of Sale (POS) data across multiple materials and product categories.

We would welcome applications from graduates who have gained practical experience using CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite through their studies, placements, internships or previous employment.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate specification databases, supporting data collection activities, creating and reviewing 2D and 3D CAD drawings, and ensuring technical documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical data support to procurement and wider business stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain KPIs related to specification and POS data accuracy and delivery timelines.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of specification databases and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional language skills relevant to the supported region would be advantageous.
  • Experience using CAD software, ideally Artios CAD or a similar package, with the ability to create and interpret 2D and 3D retail display specifications and keylines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar designing software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a methodical approach to data management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, resolve data discrepancies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience within retail, print, packaging or display manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively within a global team.

As a Specification Data Technician, you will bring technical expertise, a collaborative mindset and a commitment to accuracy, helping to ensure the successful delivery of projects for our clients across multiple markets.

This role may also suit candidates with experience as a CAD Technician, Packaging Technician, Packaging Designer, Structural Designer, Artwork Technician, POS Designer or Specification Technologist.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and international team, further develop your CAD and technical data management skills, and contribute to projects for some of the world's most recognised brands across multiple global markets.
