Job Description
This job is responsible for driving accurate, complete, and timely delivery of data through execution of enterprise data management requirements. Key responsibilities include working with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver data management activities, ensuring data quality, and support adherence to data management standards. This role includes direct managerial responsibilities, leading a team responsible for executing data management activities, maintaining data quality, and ensuring adherence to enterprise policies and standards. This role focuses on execution, data quality, issue remediation, and control effectiveness, ensuring data is managed in compliance with enterprise requirements and is fit for use across business and regulatory needs.


Key Responsibilities:

• Leads and develops a team responsible for executing data management activities and ensuring adherence to enterprise data management policies and standards.
• Works with Line of Business partners, including Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Technology, to execute data management activities and support delivery of data solutions.
• Executes data management requirements by ensuring data processes, risks, and controls are defined, documented, and maintained in accordance with enterprise standards.
• Ensures data is governed across the full lifecycle by supporting capture, transport, use, and issue management activities in alignment with policy requirements.
• Drives data quality outcomes by ensuring data is accurate, complete, and timely, and supports ongoing monitoring of data health.
• Identifies, documents, and escalates data issues, supports root cause analysis, and drives remediation actions to timely closure in alignment with enterprise standards.
• Monitors and supports effective execution of controls designed to mitigate data risk, and partners with stakeholders to address identified control gaps.
• Maintains completeness and accuracy of data inventories and supports end-to-end traceability from data source to consumption.
• Identifies gaps in adherence to data management policies and standards and works with appropriate partners to execute remediation plans.
• Monitors performance metrics related to data quality and controls and supports escalation and corrective actions when thresholds are not met

 

Responsibilities:

• Works with Line of Business partners, including Compliance, Audit, and Risk to understand needs and produce data solutions, often times in partnership with Technology 
• Identifies gaps in data management standards adherence and works with appropriate partners to develop plans for resolution, including recommendations so that relevant risk and compliance policies and standards are met
• Analyzes emerging needs for data to address risk, regulatory, or business enablement priorities and appropriately plans for interim and target state solutions within data management policies
• Monitors key performance indicators and internal controls in accordance with established thresholds, standards, and policies
