As a Data Engineer / ETL Developer - Manager, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organizations. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will work within our Business Application Consulting practice, helping clients optimize operational efficiency. You will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. Responsibilities

- Leading the development and customization of applications using the Guidewire platform to meet insurance organizations' needs
- Designing, coding, and testing software solutions for policy administration, claims management, and billing processes
- Analyzing client requirements and implementing software solutions to optimize operational efficiency
- Providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications
- Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion to deliver on client expectations
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Collaborating with team leadership to maintain quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Encouraging innovation and embracing technology to improve service delivery
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Business Administration/Management, Business Analytics, Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering & Accounting, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Engineering and Business, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management/Research, Risk Management, Software App, Statistics
- At least one of the following: Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification
- Demonstrating proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
- Utilizing analytical thinking to solve complex system interactions
- Embracing change and innovation in software development methodologies
- Excelling in strategic questioning to identify business opportunities
- Mentoring team members to enhance their professional growth
