People & Engagement partners with senior management and Business Groups to recruit, develop, compensate, reward, and retain employees through a wide range of people practices, programs, and resources we offer. 

 

People & Information Services (P&IS) comprises four core departments—Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Talent and Pre-Employment Operations, Payroll & Operations, and Product Management & Analytics. Together, these teams deliver the essential services, technology, and processes that power the employee lifecycle and enable P&E—and the broader Bank—to operate efficiently and compliantly. P&IS serves as the operational and digital backbone of People & Engagement, managing critical moments from hiring to onboarding, access management, payroll processing, records compliance, analytics, and systems governance. The function balances local needs with System-wide alignment, ensuring consistency, risk mitigation, and high-quality service delivery. 

  

How You’ll Make an Impact as a People Analytics Specialist:  

The Data Analytics Specialist designs, develops and implements business-driven analytical products such as models, reports, workflows and dashboards. You will work closely with People Leaders, business stakeholders to understand the decisions, opportunities, and challenges they are navigating, frame analytical questions, develop and test hypotheses, analyze workforce data, and communicate findings, implications, and recommendations in a clear and actionable way. Build strong partnerships with the Bank's technology providers with an eye toward integrating products with the Bank-wide analytics architecture. 

The Unique Skill Sets We’re Looking For:  

Skills: 

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Alteryx (data prep/ETL workflows), Tableau / Power BI (dashboarding and visualization), SQL (data querying, joins, aggregations across relational databases), Python or R (data manipulation, automation, statistical analysis),  

• Workday Reporting & Discovery Boards (People Analytics-specific reporting), 

• Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)  

Analytical Techniques: 

• Predictive modeling / forecasting (e.g., attrition risk, headcount planning) 

• Statistical analysis (regression, correlation, hypothesis testing) 

• Data cleansing, validation, and integrity auditing 

• ETL / data pipeline development and maintenance 

• Workforce analytics methodologies (succession modeling, span-of-control analysis, org design metrics) 

• Trend and variance analysis for compensation/market benchmarking

 

Data Governance & Architecture: 

• Data governance frameworks and standards (metadata management, data lineage) 

• Experience integrating disparate data sources into unified reporting environments 

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., star schema, data marts) 

Soft/Applied Skills: 

• Translating ambiguous business questions into structured analytical requirements 

• Data storytelling — building narrative-driven presentations for non-technical stakeholders 

 

Other Things to Know:   

Salary Range: $165,000 – 195,000 / year
