1. Key Responsibilities:
Technical Design & Development
- Design and develop customizations, extensions, and integrations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations following best practices and coding standards
- Implement solutions using X++, extensions framework, and D365 F&O development patterns
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, OData, Data Management Framework (DMF), and Azure services
- Build and enhance workflows, batch jobs, SSRS reports, and system functionalities
System Integration & Architecture
- Design and implement end-to-end integrations between D365 F&O and external systems
- Utilize Azure technologies such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management
- Support data migration, data validation, and data reconciliation during implementation and upgrade phases
- Ensure scalable and secure architecture design aligned with enterprise standards
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in solution architecture design, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Support testing cycles including unit testing, SIT, and UAT
- Assist in release management, deployment pipelines, and environment configuration
Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Dev, Test, and Production environments
- Monitor system performance, batch jobs, and integrations, proposing optimization improvements
- Prepare technical documentation, code artifacts, and knowledge transfer materials
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous system enhancement
2. Knowledge and Attributes:
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development
- Proficiency in X++, extensions, and Dynamics 365 development tools (Visual Studio, LCS)
- Experience with: Data Management Framework (DMF)OData and REST APIs; Azure integration services
- Understanding of Dynamics 365 security, performance tuning, and deployment processes
- Knowledge of SQL Server and data modeling
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Consultant or Developer on Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 F&O projects
- Experience working on at least one full-cycle ERP implementation is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile or DevOps-based delivery models
