Our IT organization has a critical role in driving extraordinary business results. Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and creative people with a passion for learning. Specific skills also may include:
Analytical mindset and a can-do approach to problem-solving
Hands-on experience with a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) such as Elastic Stack or Splunk
Knowledge of Windows, Linux, iOS, and virtual environments
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP protocols; Tools: TCPDump, Wireshark, Nmap)
Forensic knowledge (FTK, Autopsy, Volatility)
Review logs to identify unusual behavior in networks and devices
Endpoint Detection knowledge (Wazuh, Velociraptor, OSSEC, OSQuery, OpenEDR)
Experience with network-based intrusion detection (IDS/IPS - SNORT or Suricata)
Understand email protection, investigations (analyze email headers), and protocols (IMAP, SMTP, POP3)
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
Ability to program and write scripts (Python, Java, Go, or any other modern language)
Proactive approach and enthusiasm for problem identification and solving
Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
A strong appetite for continuous learning
Great verbal and written skills, and a willingness to apply them to documentation
Nice to have:
Training or certifications (CompTIA Network+, Security+)
Experience or training with AI or LLM
Note: Candidate must be in the Chicago/Schaumburg office 2 days a week.

Basic Requirements
High School Diploma is required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date of May 2028 or later
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
