As a Cyber R&R - ER&CS - Data Analytics - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our Advanced Analytics practice within Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics services. You will assist clients in developing analytics and technology solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict risk. By leveraging advanced technology, you will focus on establishing the right controls, processes, and structures to validate that decisions are based on accurate information, confirming that information provided to third parties is complete and trustworthy.

As a Senior Associate, you will utilize your skills to analyze complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will be responsible for building meaningful client connections and guiding others through ambiguity to deliver quality work. Within our Risk Consulting practice, you will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, while mentoring junior team members and maintaining professional standards.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will focus on data strategies, analytical modeling, systems assessment, dashboard development, and creating tools for continuous data monitoring. You will have the opportunity to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from industry trends, enhancing your personal growth and technical skills.

Responsibilities

- Developing and implementing data analytics solutions to support risk detection and monitoring
- Utilizing advanced technology to establish controls and processes for accurate decision-making
- Collaborating with clients to design data strategies and analytical models
- Conducting complex data analysis to provide insights and recommendations
- Building dashboards and tools for continuous data monitoring and governance
- Leveraging tools like Alteryx and Power BI for data integration and visualization
- Confirming data integrity and security within analytics frameworks
- Mentoring junior team members in data analysis techniques and methodologies
- Analyzing industry trends to inform client strategies and solutions
- Reviewing and validating the quality and accuracy of data-driven deliverables

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Must demonstrate basic SQL/Python proficiency

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
- At least one of the following: A Certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualization tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modeling/ML (Python, SAS)
- Demonstrating proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Utilizing advanced statistical modeling techniques to derive actionable insights
- Excelling in complex data analysis and algorithm development for strategic decision-making
- Developing and implementing data quality improvement plans (DQIP) for enhanced data integrity
- Navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing environments to deliver client-focused solutions
