As a Cyber R&R - ER&CS - Data Analytics - Associate, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics. Within our Risk & Regulatory practice, you will focus on organizational technology capabilities, including business intelligence, data management, and data assurance, to help clients innovate and grow in response to evolving customer and technology landscapes. Your work will involve leveraging data to navigate risk and provide clients with a competitive edge.

As an Associate, you will contribute to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be part of a team of problem solvers, handling and analyzing data responsibly, and communicating confidently. Your role will involve sharing and collaborating effectively, identifying opportunities for improvement, and building meaningful client connections. You will be expected to uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct, while seeking opportunities to learn about PwC as a global network of firms.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will help clients implement enterprise content and data management applications that improve operational effectiveness and provide impactful data analytics and insights.

Responsibilities

- Conducting complex data analysis to uncover insights and drive business results
- Developing and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance operational effectiveness
- Utilizing tools like Alteryx and Power BI for data integration and visualization
- Building and maintaining data pipelines to support analytics applications
- Performing predictive modeling and machine learning to forecast trends and outcomes
- Collaborating with teams to improve data quality and integrity
- Handling and analyzing data responsibly to support client engagements
- Creating dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations
- Engaging in research to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
- Navigating risk and compliance procedures to uphold ethical standards

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Must demonstrate basic SQL/Python proficiency

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
- At least one of the following: A Certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualization tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modeling/ML (Python, SAS)
- Demonstrating proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau
- Utilizing advanced data analysis techniques for business insights
- Engaging in algorithm development and machine learning applications
- Handling complex data sets with tools like Alteryx and Power BI
- Developing skills in data integration and data warehousing
