Product Manager – Algeria

Job Purpose

The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans for assigned products, translating international brand strategy into impactful local execution.

Reporting to the Country Commercial Lead, the role drives brand performance through market insights, customer understanding and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring alignment with Amgen’s strategy and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Performance

• Develop and execute the Country Brand Plan in alignment with international strategy and local market priorities.
• Translate international brand campaigns into effective local strategies and action plans.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities.
• Monitor brand performance and KPIs, adapting tactics to optimize results.
• Support product launches, lifecycle management and Long-Range Planning.

Marketing & Customer Engagement

• Develop and execute promotional campaigns, materials and customer engagement initiatives.
• Support scientific events, congresses, symposia and cycle/launch meetings.
• Drive field engagement and understanding of the brand strategy and aspiration.
• Coordinate competitive intelligence and related action plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Business Planning to optimize brand performance.
• Collaborate with regional and international Brand Teams to ensure strategic alignment and leverage best practices.
• Identify business opportunities and develop relevant business cases.

Compliance & Operational Excellence

• Manage brand budgets, resources and external vendors effectively.
• Ensure all activities comply with Amgen policies, SOPs and applicable regulations.
• Maintain high standards of integrity, planning and execution excellence.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech experience in Product Management, Marketing or Commercial roles.
• Experience in brand management and product launches; specialty-care experience is an advantage.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and business acumen.
• Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and matrix environment.
• Good understanding of the Algerian pharmaceutical and healthcare environment.
• Strong compliance awareness and integrity.
• Fluency in French and Arabic, with proficiency in English.
