SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: (2- 3 sentences summarizing the position)

Customer Service will be a differentiating point to our customers, making it easy for them to do business with us.  Internally, to communicate effectively with the sales team and be a contributing member of the operations team, helping to make the operation run more efficiently and meeting the needs of the customer.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Ensure that good communication exists, and continues, between the customer and the pertinent internal operations and sales personnel

·         Expedite customer orders in a timely manner

·         Timely invoice customers

·         Coordinate customer order with manufacturing base

·         Monitor order status and communicate any pertinent information to customer

·         Coordinates forecasting with feedback from customers and account managers

·         Provide the sales team and management with pertinent information concerning customer accounts and products

·         To be available for all communication with customer

EDUCATION:  

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: College degree

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• 3+ years of customer service experience with a manufacturing company
• Experience with customer order entry systems
• Knowledge of products and the manufacturing processes (ability to learn)
• Excellent communication skills
• Personable, happy and pro-active demeanor.  Excellent work ethic
• Common sense to work through opportunities and problem solve
• Ability to create and maintain customer files
• Ability to work with a CRM portal
• Excellent computer and organizational skills.  JD Edwards operating system a plus.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.  PowerPoint a plus
