About this Customer Service role at BorgWarner
We operate in two groups: The Engine Group develops air management strategies and products to optimize engines for fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and enhanced performance. The group leverages this understanding of powertrain clutching technology to develop interactive control systems and strategies for all types of torque management.
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join Customer Service at our SLP PDS Plant in Mexico.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the PC&L Manager, the Customer Service Ensure that customer orders are correct and should be the customer's first contact regarding the communication of order status and related problems or timely delivery of them.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Receive information from the Customer and update orders in a timely and correct manner according to delivery policies.
Communicate customer requirements on your behalf to the Production Control area.
Request that available finished product inventory be shipped in a timely manner.
Provide Customers with timely feedback regarding the status of their orders.
Place, cancel and expedite orders.
Be an official representative of the company to maintain efficient communication and a healthy working relationship with all Customers, continuously striving to improve said relationship.
Keep Management informed of existing or potential problems that could prevent the delivery of orders.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Degree in Administration, International Trade, Economics, Industrial Engineer.
Time of experience in similar position: 1 year or more in similar position.
Technical knowledge required: Knowledge in manufacturing processes.
Other requirements: Microsoft Office, ERP System, SAP
