Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement SAP RAR solutions in S/4HANA environments
Analyze and map business revenue recognition requirements to IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards
Configure and manage:
o Revenue Contracts
o Performance Obligations (POBs)
o Standalone Selling Price (SSP)
o Allocation and Accounting Rules
Define and configure RAR data models, event-based revenue postings, and revenue plans
Work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
Perform end-to-end integration with SAP modules such as:
o SD (Sales & Distribution)
o FI (GL, AR)
o BRIM (if applicable)
Support RAR data migration from legacy revenue recognition systems
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
Troubleshoot and resolve RAR-related issues during implementation and post-go-live phases
Prepare functional specifications and support documentation
Assist in period-end revenue close activities and reconciliations

Mandatory Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
Strong functional knowledge of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
Proven experience in:
o RAR Configuration and Customization
o Revenue Contracts and Events
o Performance Obligations (POBs)
o Standalone Selling Prices (SSP)
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
Experience integrating RAR with SD and FI modules
Knowledge of RAR inbound interfaces and event-based postings
Ability to independently handle RAR-related design and implementation activities

Good to Have (Nice-to-Have Skills)
Experience with SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)
Exposure to SAP FI-GL, CO, and Profitability Analysis
Knowledge of RAR reporting, reconciliation, and audit support
Experience in S/4HANA conversion or CARVE-OUT projects
Familiarity with ABAP debugging in RAR context
SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance or RAR
