Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for coordinating efforts across various teams, ensuring that the application solutions align with organizational goals. The position requires overseeing the progress of development activities, troubleshooting challenges, and continuously refining the software to enhance performance and usability. Collaboration and communication are key throughout the day to maintain alignment with stakeholders and deliver high-quality results.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development initiatives to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to align with business processes.
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation within the ServiceNow environment.
- Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our INDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
